Pandora and Last.fm Together–sort of

Yes, I know it’s a re-post of a digg.com article, but I don’t care. This is what I have been waiting for! Even though it’s a 3rd-party site, I think it should be trustworthy. It looks like it loads Pandora’s player and information from pandora.com because it looks like it was able [...]

Feed of Feeds

So I added an RSS feed to the site. So, now, it’s a feed of aggregated feeds. A bit redundant, but I wanted to go ahead and go all out. Go figure.

Small Updates

Today I added a “Corporate America” links section on the right nav column. Just a few local companies worth mentioning. Also up is a Netflix section with my queue and what I currently have at home. And, finally, I added my dugg stories from Digg.com. Not much, but I wanted to [...]

A better LAN

So, as I sit here and stuff patch cables and power cables into zip-lock sandwich bags, I’ve been designing the ideal table for a LAN in my head. Aesthetically, it’d look like a regular table. But underneath and inside, it’s a whole different beast. On the under side of the table, it [...]

More Site Updates

I have rolled out more stuff on the site. Stuff you can’t see, such as the admin section. And then, stuff that you can see, such as more feeds on the right (including del.icio.us and Flickr) and links to friends’ web sites. Also, I made a tag cloud generator that I can [...]

Too much web…not enough sleep

I’ve been awake for nearly 23 hours now. I was tired when I got home from the party at Graham and Virginia’s tonight, but I really, really, really wanted to work on my site. So, that’s what I’ve been doing for the past two hours. The screen is blurry, and I can [...]

Online Dating meets Web 2.0

I saw a banner ad for this site while browsing around Last.fm and couldn’t help but to click. The site is Consumating and is the cliche of Web 2.0 meets dating. Tags, tag clouds, “bubbly” fonts, AJAX, the works. A couple of quotes from the site:
“Consumating: Hot nerdy girls and indie rock [...]

It’s alive!

’nuff said.

Inching forward at the speed of light!

I think I’m done with rev 1 of the new site! It only took about 8 total hours of work over a 36-hour period. So, after some QA and bug testing, I’ll be ready to roll it live tomorrow night!
The load time is significantly faster! It’s gone down to under a second [...]

Last Entry…

…from the current incarnation of the site using Serendipity. New site should be up within a week.
