Online Dating meets Web 2.0
I saw a banner ad for this site while browsing around Last.fm and couldn’t help but to click. The site is Consumating and is the cliche of Web 2.0 meets dating. Tags, tag clouds, “bubbly” fonts, AJAX, the works. A couple of quotes from the site:
“Consumating: Hot nerdy girls and indie rock boys! with glasses!”
“Join for free and find other weirdos like you today!”
Maybe it’s just me, but I think it’s hilarious.
Want to feel belittled? Just think, you’re a tag in someone’s cloud. Tagging people…didn’t the Bible mention something about that?
