Spring Cleaning ‘06
So, I’ve decided it’s time for some much needed spring cleaning. For the most part, things are cleaned up just the way I like them. There are just a few places that could use a little bit of re-organization. One of them is the dry sink that is a collective dump for cables and computer crap.

After about 3 hours of work, I’m getting close. What’s left is getting transported to the back bedroom closet. However, that needs to be cleaned out and re-organized as well. I’m trying to get it down to the bare essentials of what I need to keep my current computers running and have a few spare parts for people who may need them. So, even though I hate tossing out equipment that is probably dead but hasn’t been thoroughly tested, I’m just going to byte the bullet and toss it. When am I going to use an ISA sound card ever again? When is anyone going to use one of those, even? The monitors and the old Netfinity 7000 case are going to be the fun things to try and get rid of. We’ll see what else I may have buried in there.
Keep an eye on this as there may be monitors or thought-to-be working (and possibly useful) computer parts available in the coming days. I’ll try to get a list together to post here (if I have any interested readers…or readers at all) and to ChattaLAN. As always, first come, first served.
