I’ve uploaded the pictures from this weekend earlier today. There’s a handful from the early Easter party at Sparky’s and quite a few from the Predators vs. Blackhawks game (that’s a whole other disappointing rant).

One of the shots from the game is just awesome, in my opinion. It’s just the puck standing on edge in a face-off circle while some “talks” were going on to the other side of the slot. I did the “I’m feeling lucky” filter in Picasa to get the grooves in the ice to show up and then applied a sepia tone filter for the color (not quite black-and-white, but close).

This is one of the better action shots I think I’ve ever taken. That’s Pekka Rinne during the pre-game skate.

I also liked this shot of my step-sister watching the pre-game skate. She’s off in her own wonderland of hockey!

And, finally, as we were leaving the game and I was standing outside the parking garage, I saw this one. Nothing spectacular, but I liked the moon between the Bellsouth “Batman ears” spires.
