It’s looking good for the NASHVILLE Predators
Alright, so sure we’ve traded our captain, a good left winger, and our all-star goaltender away. But, ya know what? It’s looking good for the Predators to remain in Nashville. According to a few different articles, Balsillie has rubbed everyone in the NHL and in Nashville the wrong way on his attempt to buy the team and make very public contingency plans to move the team to Hamilton, Ontario in 2008. He even managed to pre-sale “thousands” of season tickets for the 2008-2009 for a non-existent team in Hamilton.
I can’t argue that having a team in Hamilton, Ontario isn’t a brilliant business plan (because it’s a great idea), but just not this team. Nashville’s team. MY team!
