My “Little Gem” Magnolia tree has its first flower bud!

I’ll be watching it closely to see when it opens and snap another picture or two then.

Some are pretty blurry from the water on the camera. They are just cheap-o water proof disposable cameras. The picture quality isn’t perfect, but there are some good ones in there. Maybe next year I’ll have the guts to go down with a better digital [...]

We’re back from rafting! It was a lot of fun. I managed to scam a few of the proof photos from the MyRiverPhoto’s PhotoReflect site. I’m not paying $26 for a low-res picture!

This is a moon flower. My best guess is ipomoea tricolor.

This is one of the first few shots I took with my new Canon Rebel XTi. I thought it was pretty neat, so I’ll post it. It’s a Giant Leopard Moth.
